Bespoke Public Affairs & Public Relations
Since we opened the doors at Scottish Media Training (25 years ago) the comms environment has changed out of all recognition. But you don’t need us to tell you that.
We’ve realised that pretty much all of our media/presentation training clients have deeper needs than a few hours of (high quality) training can fix.
We’ve always been happy to help clients on an ad hoc basis – after all, that’s what our team spend their non-training days doing. But new in 2026, we’re launching the option of targeted/bespoke support – at a significant discount to our usual fees.
So as we get ready for your training course, or if you had one years ago, have a think whether any of the following would be of interest:
- A bespoke workshop (approx. 4 hours) on influencing key stakeholders (politicians, local government, civil servants etc).
Coaching to prepare a plan for ‘outreach’ that could include some of the above, local and national media, and business stakeholders that will make your organisation thrive in 2026. - A flagship event at, say, the Scottish Parliament or even Westminster – linking your key stakeholders/customers with senior politicians is a certain way to show that you have influence where it matters.
- ‘Hand holding’ less senior team members as they deliver any of the above.
And that’s just a starter for ten. Remember, our team has been in the communications business since the 1990s and we have seen just about every media scenario imaginable. We specialise in crafting tailored Public Affairs and Public Relations solutions that help shape policy, build credibility, and engage with YOUR audiences who matter most.
In short, we combine deep political and media insight with creative communication strategies to deliver campaigns that influence decisions, protect reputations, and amplify your voice in a crowded landscape.
